I have both types - the 6B3 is the most comfortable of the two with the soft kevlar inserts.
I know it should have the small plates as well - but were they actually used by the troops?
Second - how is the easiest way to put on quickly?
I just set the side straps and undid my waist belt and then slipped the vest on over my head. Is there a better method? Or is it just cumbersome and once you have it on - you leave it on? That is what I started doing - putting it on in the morning and not taking it off until I went to bed at night.
