Af far as I know airbourne wear sky blue , navy and marines wear black , police (OMON) wear maroon and border guard wear green.

666, you are talking about hats, but telniashka is a kind of stripes-colored t-shirt.

NN, you are correct, but for MVD and Border guards this subject varies greatly in real divisions. (And, frankly, i do not even know, what is said in the regulations about that.)

Marines and submarines crews wear black and white.

c.cat, no, I was actually talking about telnyashka, not about a hat I didn't say "white and black, white and blue" since they all have white stripes on them.

Kate, you do realize that in the real-world situation what they're wearing can be quite different from what they supposed to be issued and even from what they're issued?

As Kanaris said Navy uses the one with the darker navy/black stripes and VDV with the light-blue stripes.

There're people on the forum with the better isniders information, but I'm pretty sure that the rest wears what they're issued, ie what their officers could get them.

Ok. Coming to the question raised by NapalmNymph. The first of is about the purpose of the Telnyashka which is you were asking about. Do you intend to model one of the russian naval team special or something? If so you'd better know the FM of russian millitary uniform cause the wrong usage of thing like Telnyashka would harm the story of you I guess you know what I mean. You'd better ask someone for resolving the question.

I asked the question to check I had the correct information on which colour is 'supposed' to be issued. I asked because one of the guys on RA forum wants to do a Russian Naval infantry impression, and asked what colour Telnyashka would be the correct one to wear.

I have the VDV light blue, and the KGB Green, but I wasn't sure if the Navy was Dark blue or Black.

And yes i'm well aware that what is 'supposed' to be issued and what actually is issued doesn't always correspond, that's why I love being In a Russian themed Team, freedom to wear what you want and look perfectly Russian! Soviet/Russian Camo is totally the best!!!
